This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working with talented friend and Phoenix-area photographer, Mikel Anne Arnce, on a special project. Turns out, Mikel Anne and I are both starting exciting new career ventures, which means we are both “building our brands.”
For Mikel Anne, photography is a passion. With each click of the shutter she captures a moment and transforms it into a work of art. Since she first began her business, I’ve admired her absolutely gorgeous images of families, babies, and couples posted on her facebook and website pages, but it wasn’t until this weekend that I actually got to see Mikel Anne at work. In her element, I could see that the girl isn’t just talented…she was truly meant to be a photographer! She specializes in headshots, couples, and sexy boudoir. Definitely check out her site and see her amazing work for yourself: http://www.mikelanne.com/
After 7 hours, 3 locations, and nearly 300 Pictures with Mikel on Monday, I am just thrilled with the results! It’s going to take a couple weeks before we have all our favorite shots picked out and ready to go, but Mikel did give me a sneak peek at a few of them! She did such I great job, I just can’t wait to see the rest!!

I have been seeing these pop up on facebook- you look amazing!! definitely A-list quality!
Maybe I need to hire her to make this tired mama feel sexy again…
You are gorgeous! How wonderful that you have these to cherish…and always look at to give you that extra confidence boost you might need! It is nice to see what you look like through other people's eyes. Beautifully Hawls, simply beautiful. Can't wait to see more!
Sarah- you totally should! She makes you feel so comfortable, and as you can see, she's a genius with the camera and knows how to capture your most flattering angles. P.S. The husband would LOVE some sexy pictures for an anniversary, birthday, or Valentine's Day gift.
Anna Banana- Thank you so much! You have always been such a wonderful, encouraging friend. It means the world to me, I hope you know.
That black and white one is awesome. I love it :)
