Leaving on a Jet Plane

All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go…

The hubs and I are officially jet-setters…en route to Italy, as we speak! I can hardly contain my excitement!!!

Right now I’m researching the most important phrases I will need to know while in Italy, like: Dov’è la toilette? (Where’s the bathroom?), Quanto costa questo? (How much is this?), and Ha un altro colore? (does this come in another color?).

And while the shopping will certainly be a highlight, I am most looking forward to the incredible food I will be devouring for the next two weeks. I’m hoping all the sampling will inspire some delicious creations in my own kitchen upon our return.

In between all the lattes along the canals and soaking up the Santorini sunshine, I will do my best to update you all on our adventures- though I’m sure you’ll understand if posts become temporarily infrequent :).
