Great news, friends! Punksutawney Phil did not see his shadow…which means he predicts an early spring!!! If you live…well, just about anywhere except Southern California, this is likely very welcome news. You all must be FREEZING out there!
Celebrate Groundhog Day with Pudding Pops
To celebrate, we should all make these fabulous Punxsutawney Phil pudding pops, from Junior Society.

Aren’t they darling?!?! A great way to surprise your kids (or your kid at heart…AKA your husband). For the full recipe, click here.
And to all you fab housewives out there… HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!

The cutest EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in love with these!
Yikes… it’s colder in Austin than Canada! Come on Spring, we need you!
Two years later and the link doesn’t work. :( What are pudding pops, pray tell?
Thanks for your comment Tracy! That’s a bummer the original link is gone, however you could use a chocolate pudding pop recipe like this one: http://www.food.com/recipe/jello-chocolate-pudding-pops-134086. The cute little groundhog head is just a vanilla wafer, the ears almond slivers (if I remember correctly), and the face is drawn on with melted chocolate and a toothpick. The melted chocolate also works as an adhesive for the almond ears. Good luck!
