Happy Friday Fab Housewives!

This was another week of change for the hubs and I. Last Friday, we moved into a new home, which meant most of our time has been spent getting situated. Though moving is always a ton of work, and by about halfway through the process you wonder if it’s really worth the hassle, you finally round that last turn and realize how good the whole experience really is for you. Moving offers a clean slate, the chance to refresh, simplify your life, slough off the excess. All those needless things that weigh you down can be tossed. We’re now at that point when our world  is starting to look new and shiny and beautiful again. It’s a good feeling. Here are some of the little things that brought joy and warmth to our new home this week…

home decor housewarming gift DIY paper flowers gift wrap
{A housewarming gift smells heavenly when lit, and some DIY paper flowers are a perfect gift wrap alternative to tissue paper. They also make darling vase filler!}

white leather sectional sofa home decor{My new white leather sectional arrived, and is immediately the most comfortable place in the house. I love that my whole body fits in both directions, which means the hubs and I can now sprawl out comfortably in front of our shows.}

Friday favs chicken tomato arugula goat cheese pizza
{All that moving leaves little time for cooking. These lavash bread pizzas were the perfect solution. No need to mess with sticky dough. I drizzled mine with EVOO, crushed red pepper and freshly minced garlic, then topped it with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, mozzarella, goat cheese and arugula.}
