If your Halloween decor taste tends to be a tad less goulish, and a little more…girlish, then this DIY project is perfect for you! These fab glitter pumpkins were so easy to make, and they add just enough festive Fall sparkle to brighten your home.
I decorated both real and fake pumpkins, and have big plans to reuse the fake pumpkins for my metallic Thanksgiving centerpiece next month. I also got creative with the designs and my glitter colors, for a more variegated look. For example, this artificial pumpkin has an all-over coat of copper-colored sparkles…
…while this uber-chic real white pumpkin has a lovely champagne ombre look.
I also played around with sizes, cutting small pumpkins from an old, ugly autumn garland, then covering some in sparkles, and spray painting others in solid metallics.
To finish off the look, I displayed my glitter pumpkins on candleholders and lit votives for even more shimmer and shine!
