{Blissfully Bridal} Elegant Updos

Happy Friday Fab Housewives! I’m especially giddy this week because today is my dear friend Katie’s wedding.

We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year, and now that it’s finally arrived, I can’t believe how fast the time flew by (isn’t that always the case when planning a wedding?). As a bridesmaid, I’ve gotten to be a part of the it all from the beginning, especially in deciding the dresses, the shoes, the bachelorette party. But amidst all the thoughtful decision making, one thing I forgot to consider, is my bridesmaid hair. For the most part, Katie has left the decision of what to do with our hair, up to us girls. Her only criteria includes:

1. It must be up
2. It must be classic and elegant

My appointment with the stylist is in just a few hours, so I’ve compiled a photo list from pinterest of the perfect bridesmaid updos for inspiration. Here are my favorites:

One question that popped up while we were discussing bridesmaid hair is this: Should the bride and her maids be consistent in their hair style choices (i.e. if the bride’s is up, should the maids’ be too, and vice versa if the bride wears her hair down)? Or, should the styles contrast so the bride is unique and stands out?
