If you’ve shopped at all this month, you’ve probably noticed it’s all about turquoise home decor right now. Turquoise the hot color for spring, and just about everyone is embracing it. Case in point, The West Elm catalogue I found in my mailbox…
and the Z Gallerie website home page…
Turquoise, aquamarine, duck egg blue, seafoam green…call it what you will. It’s my very favorite color, and I’m thrilled to see it so accessible. Usually my love of turquoise tends to be displayed in the form of dangly earings and statement necklaces, but in seeing how magically the color can liven up a room, I’m inspired. Here are some of my favorite ways the pros have used variations of the hue:
Toby Fairely uses soft, calming turquoise tones…
A Sea Glass Tiled Backsplash gives off an ocean vibe in this beach bungalow via Country Living…
Kendall Wilkinson creates drama with a glossy turquoise wall and orange accents…
Caldwell Flake uses turquoise as one room’s anchor color, then artfully blends it into an accent in the next
